'Book Feature Network' Scam
Got my first targeted author scam! Here’s what it looked like:
Hi AJ Elliott,
I was just browsing through the Realm Makers Awards list and wanted to reach out—I was really impressed with the concept behind Windrider.
My name is Amare Cole, and I run Book Feature Network. We’re currently looking for a few high-quality titles to feature in our upcoming promotion cycles to help drive some fresh sales and reviews.
Are you currently open to any new features or promotional partnerships for this book? If so, I’d love to send over a few details on how we work.
Best,
Amare Cole

An internet search confirmed the ‘Book Feature Network’ doesn’t exist, and the ‘singapora.sg’ , along with being an immediate red flag, isn’t a legitimate domain.
We’re getting into award/conference season and it seems like the scammers are taking advantage.
