Bookstore Asking For An Arc?

I recently received this message through my website’s contact page from someone named Kaelyn Woodall:

“Hi, Lauren! I own The Next Chapter Christian Bookstore, a brick-and-mortar Christian bookstore in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. We love supporting indie authors and would be thrilled to carry your book "Edges & Other Hard Things" in our store. We’d be honored if you’d consider us for an ARC so we can read, review, and help share it with our customers. Wishing you many blessings on this exciting launch!”

Is it normal for a bookstore to ask for an ARC, or is this just someone trying to snag a free copy? Is it worth it?
