Is this a book cafe scam?

I’ve received a series of emails offering to get my book in book cafes. I live in Australia where we don’t have book cafes - are these a thing?

This is part of one of the emails:

I’d like to briefly explain how placing your book in book café shops can benefit both you and your book. Book cafés are visited by readers who already love discovering new books and authors. When your book is placed there, it doesn’t just sit on a shelf  it is seen by real readers who browse, read excerpts, and often purchase books they connect with.
