New Scam: Bestselling Author Impersonators

So far I haven’t received scam emails, but today I had one from Alex Michaelides…as in The NY Times Bestselling author. 🙄 It’s obviously an impersonator as the address is gmail. Anyone else get one of these? The writing sounds like AI, but it only invites conversation about what it’s like being an author, no links to click or sales pitch. Is there a way to notify gmail or some other entity about this?

Thanks.
