Writers Way Solution: Possible Podcast Scam?

I received the strangest text from “Jimmy Santos” of Writers Way Solution today. First, I received a call from the same number on my landline (weird), then on my mobile, but it showed as SPAM. I received this text shortly after:

Hi A. T. Baron, this is Jimmy Santos from Writers Way. I’d like to invite you to appear on our Spotify podcast to discuss your book, "A Tale of Two Squirrels", and share your insights with our audience. Would you be available for a brief chat to coordinate details? Here’s an example of past author interviews: https://open.spotify.com/show/3Mg1BrXJApuM7Gk5a86dAV

Sincerely,
Jimmy Santos.
Writers Way Solution

I checked out the Spotify link, but something didn’t sit right with it. The book mentioned was published over ten years ago, and I know scammers are out in full force.

The Writers Way Solutions website states:

Writers Way Solutions is a professional writing and publishing company dedicated to helping writers transform ideas into impactful content. From aspiring authors to seasoned professionals, we provide expert guidance, creative support, and reliable solutions to elevate every stage of the writing journey.

I couldn’t find anything on Writer’s Beware on the company or podcast. I don’t intend to respond to them since they didn’t contact me through my website, and it creeps me out that they have the phone numbers that I don’t post anywhere.

Has anyone heard anything about them?
