Distinct Book Club - Scammers not even trying

I’m an editor, not an author, and I only started getting scam emails about promoting my (nonexistent) book in the last few weeks. But this morning was an interesting one since I am clearly not the person they are addressing:

Dear  Amy Lynn Green ,

I hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out because one of our readers in the Distinct Book Club community loved The Codebreaker's Daughter and shared their enthusiasm with other members, who then suggested that we invite you to join us for one of our upcoming sessions to discuss the book and your work.

Distinct Book Club is a reader driven community that connects passionate readers with authors through interactive virtual spotlights inspired directly by member requests.

We would love to know your availability. Below are a few date options for consideration:

This month:12th. 16th. and 23rd,

Early next month: 4th, 5th, and 6th,

Please let us know which date works best for you, and we’ll be happy to share the details.

Warm regards,
