This "expert" has a time machine!
I got an email this morning praising The Ether Lexicon, a mythical resource that appears in my Kickstarter project, “All’s Fae in Love and Chocolate,” and which I am offering as a Stretch Goal reward, as an ebook.
This supposed expert thought it was hilarious, clever, and is already generating great reader feedback.
Really? I haven’t even uploaded it for publication yet, much less given it to ANYONE to read. How did this guy read it? He must have a time machine!
Or else he’s been hacking into my computer ….
I wanted SOOOOO much to write back and point this out to him, that it’s impossible for him to have read the book because it doesn’t exist yet, but y’know, that’s kind of stupid, HELPING scammers refine their tactics so they make fewer mistakes.
He’s probably an AI and not a real person, anyway ….
Just like the executives from Random House and other legit publishers who want to work with me to develop my next project, but who never actually write from the company address …..
Creep alert!
